On Thursday, November 7th 2019 a colloquium for construction engineering takes place at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT). Martin Stumpf explains the design, planning and construction stages of high-rise buildings using examples of current projects in Basel and Hamburg.

Courses of lectures ‘Structures - Design, modelling and construction’

Ground-breaking ceremony Stream-Tower Berlin
With the ground-breaking ceremony at the beginning of March, the construction phase of the STREAM Tower in Berlin has now officially begun. The office tower in the immediate vicinity of the Mercedes-Benz Arena should be ready for occupancy by the end of 2021.

Bürgerdienste Ulm opens
The new service centre accommodates office and administrative space as well as storage, archives and a small underground car park. A special feature is the completely joint-free façade made of bush-hammered in-situ concrete.

German Pavilion at the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 in Beijing
In cooperation with GTP2 Architekten and Kontrapunkt Agentur für Kommunikation GmbH, we are planning the German pavilion for the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 in Beijing. The 425m² exhibition building forms the hub of a 2000m² garden landscape and its footprint resembles a curved leaf. The Expo at the foot of the Great Wall of China opens its doors on 29.04.2019.
